In the path of righteousness is life—it is a path to immortality. Proverbs 12:28, TLV
Press On, My Friends. Are you feeling a bit weary these days? I hope this proverb and blog will be an appetizer of comfort. After that, let our Heavenly Father feed you a delicious gourmet meal of hope and joy. And His Holy Spirit comfort and restore.
I was blessed to have my father walk me down the aisle to my future husband. Not every bride has that blessing, but my friends we have the most beautiful blessing waiting for us—eternity.
Our path is a righteous one — an eternal one. It is the bridal path of faith that leads to our Bridegroom. Walking us to our Bridegroom is our Heavenly Father. Each day is another step toward that union.
Sometimes we struggle to take the next step. We may stumble and fall. We may doubt we’ll ever know such joy amid pain. But, know this, one day we will arrive to eternity in incredible joy.
Until then, press on, my friends. The path is good and righteous, and we walk it together.
Think More About It
How do you walk the faith walk—to eternity?
Until tomorrow, may we walk together with our Father to that beautiful destination, my friends.
For with You is the fountain of life—
in Your light we see light.
Continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You,
and Your justice to the upright in heart.
May the foot of pride never tread on me,
nor the hand of the wicked drive me away. Psalm 36:10-12, TLV
Faithfulness. Lovingkindness. We crave these things from God, but do we build up our faith and kindness muscles. To emulate our Father by Yeshua’s examples? Where am I going with this? I’m praying today that because our God is faithful, that we as followers of Jesus seek to be faithful and kind. Let’s agree for us here in the States, and for our brothers and sisters in Israel—and around the world. It’s a simple prayer, yes? But what could happen? God bless you!
