Daily Word: What Do You Breathe? Proverbs 14:5

A trustworthy witness does not lie, but a false witness breathes out lies. Proverbs 14:5, TLV

What Do You Breathe?     Don’t you love people who tell the truth — the ones who breathe the truth? Telling a lie for them would be like trying to breathe underwater. Their moral compass knows that all roads lead to pleasing our Heavenly Father. And that’s more important than anything.

It doesn’t mean they don’t feel bad if the truth they speak hurts others. They do feel bad. But they also know that IF our Father told them to speak it, they’re going to do it. Doing it in obedience, compassion, and love means, the LORD will take care of the aftermath.

Think More About It

How do you breathe truth?

Until tomorrow, may we speak truth with direction and love, my friends.

A psalm of David.
ADONAI [LORD], who may dwell in Your tent?
Who may live on Your holy mountain?
The one who walks with integrity,
who does what is right,
and speaks truth in his heart,
who does not slander with his tongue,
does not wrong his neighbor,
and does not disgrace his friend … Psalm 15:1-3, TLV

Shall we pray today that Israel dwells with the LORD and walk in integrity and do what’s right? To speak truth and not slander or disgrace a friend? Yes? God bless you!
