…but they who wait for ADONAI [the LORD] will renew their strength. They will soar up with wings as eagles. They will run, and not grow weary. They will walk, and not be faint. Isaiah 40:31 TLV
Wait for It. Merry Christmas! Happy Hanukkah! For those who celebrate both . . . GOD bless you! This season can get lost in the bedlam around us. Traveling. Cooking. Gifts. Family dynamics. For those perfectionists like me, I pray a double portion of GOD’s blessings.
Whether we’re perfectionists or just let things flow around us, take time to wait on the LORD. Even if it’s for just a few seconds, wait for Him to renew your strength and remember what we’re celebrating.
Then breathe and walk and run and feel His presence within our gratitude.
Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah, dear friends!
Pray for Israel
Now Joseph also went up from the Galilee, out of the town of Natzeret to Judah, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was from the house and family of David. Luke 2:4, TLV
What a great reminder of why the world who celebrates Jesus’s birth, should be praying for His brothers and sisters—His Jewish family. Halleluyah! And pray we will, yes? God bless you!
