You will seek Me and find Me, when you will search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13, TLV
Seeking Wholeheartedly. Jeremiah has some of the most beautiful understanding of the Creator of the Universe. The prophet also shows this Creator’s heart — the heart of the Father. He wants more than anything for the world to become His redeemed children. The children who will be with Him for eternity. Today is one of those verses. Look at the previous verse.
“Then you will call on Me, and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” (vs. 12, TLV)
Can you hear a Father’s plea?
But making our way to this Creator of the Universe — well, let’s face it — can be intimidating. The Jewish people’s history shows that a remnant of souls were able to know His heart. We are incredibly blessed that we live in a time where we can see more of the whole picture. The map to finding our Father. His Son.
“Ask, and it shall be given to you. Seek, and you shall find. Knock, and it shall be opened to you.” (Matthew 7:7, TLV)
When we study the life of our Messiah, the Savior of the world, He points us to His Dad. Yeshua [Jesus] came to show us the way to be the Father’s redeemed children. Redeemed by Yeshua’s precious blood. He demonstrated how to live the life of a redeemed child of God.
I was talking with my hubby on the long drive home from Missouri and we discussed that if the Creator of the Universe provided an owner’s manual to our bodies, spirit, emotions, redemption, parenting, finances, stewarding the environment, etc., then wouldn’t we want to seek that information? Seems logical. What about having a relationship with Him? He has. I know you know the Manuel’s Name.
All this takes time and diligence. The truth is easy. Living it takes effort. But, oh, how it is worth it.
