From the rising of the sun to its going down
the Name of ADONAI [the LORD] is to be praised. Psalm 113:3, TLV
As Simple as That! The Biblical day begins at sundown. “. . . So there was evening and there was morning—one day.” (Genesis 1:5b, TLV). So, it is interesting that the psalmist speaks of the sunrise and sunset. Then again, sunrises and sunsets are some of the most beautiful handiwork of our Creator.
As an early riser, I’ve seen many sunrises and sunsets. They are like quotation marks of GOD’s majesty and visual reminders of His awesomeness.
Perhaps it’s a bit too late to enjoy today’s sunrise, but begin praising the LORD anyway. When the sun goes down, thank Him for His majesty, bless Him, and then, just soak in the beauty as the perfect reminder that He is awesome!
Have a blessed day!
