Feeling a bit anxious? Overwhelmed? If I allow it, falling into a spiraling vortex of fear is pretty easy and not just because of the elections. So, I love that YouVersion’s Verse of the Day was this passage in Hebrews. I can imagine hanging onto the precipice into the abyss of anxiety, and there is a strong hand waiting to pull me to safety.

So, if you’re like me and need a reminder that Jesus is there like a protective brother, reaching out to give you peace, then consider yourself reminded. He IS the same yesterday, today, and forever. Amen!
