Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift her voice? Proverbs 8:1, TLV

Do We Heed Wisdom’s Call?     Our Heavenly Father longs for us to seek wisdom — to seek His counsel. The first four chapters of Proverbs share the benefits of seeking that wisdom.

When we seek His counsel, we seek His Counselor, His Ruach HaKodesh — His Holy Spirit. We receive His Holy Spirit when we accepted Jesus’ atonement for our sins. His Spirit resides in us to help us become who we were created to be.

“I am the Good Shepherd. I know My own and My own know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not from this fold; those also I must lead, and they will listen to My voice. So there shall be one flock, one Shepherd.” John 10:14-16, TLV

As we study, meditate, and walk His word, we learn how to better recognize His voice. Over time, it becomes clearer for us what choices to make — what is the will of the Father in our life.

Now, add to this miraculous gift, the community of followers of Yeshua and there is a corporate anointing that is larger than the sum.

That’s how it can work. Work for the one. Work for the Body of Messiah. Change the world! We just have to listen when wisdom cries out.

Think More About It

How do you heed wisdom’s call?

Until tomorrow, may we heed wisdom’s cry, my friends.

Happy is the one who has not walked in the advice of the wicked,
nor stood in the way of sinners,
nor sat in the seat of scoffers.
But his delight is in the Torah of ADONAI [the LORD],
and on His Torah he meditates day and night. Psalm 1:1-2, TLV

We all need wisdom. Every day. But there are times when we need a deeper understanding of wisdom and strong discernment muscles. As the world scolds and admonishes Israel, if it were us, we might kowtow to the pressure—knowing it would be wrong.

Let’s agree together for Israel to not walk in the advice of the wicked, or even those who think they mean well. But that they would delight in God’s word and direction. God prayer for us all, yes? God bless you!
