Daily Word: Ephesians 4:32

Instead, be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving each other just as God in Messiah also forgave you. Ephesians 4:32, TLV

It’s a shame, but we do need to be reminded to be kind, compassionate, and, forgiving.

For those who followed my Proverbs blog, I did a study on kindness (https://authorterrigillespie.com/wisdoms-journey-proverbs-33/). How being kind is not the same as being nice. Kindness invests in the person. Niceness merely says nice things.

Especially as brothers and sisters of our Heavenly Father, we are to emulate our Messiah Jesus by forgiving each other and having compassion. Then, the world will see the love of God in us and want we have.

It’s not about formulas on how to be blessed. It’s about gratitude and living out our lives in that understanding. In relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Verses like this remind us of these truths.

I remember that Proverbs post … I had never been wild about being called “nice”. You explained it perfectly why I almost felt it was an insult to have that term plunked on me! Thx, Terri!
