Daily Word: How Urgent is It? Proverbs 5:6

She does not keep straight to the path of life, her paths are crooked—but she does not know it. Proverbs 5:6, TLV

How Urgent is It?     “But she does not know it.” There are passages in Scripture that are downright scary. How could “she” not know the path she traveled was crooked and taking her away from GOD? Was there now no hope?

The good news is, despite how dark the world is, our Heavenly Father’s light is still present. He has not withdrawn it. There is still hope for redemption.

But when the heart is hardened to our Father’s presence, the poor soul doesn’t even realize they are on the path to eternal separation from GOD. That’s a scary, sad thing.

We Don’t Know…

Do we know who those people are? The ones who have hardened their hearts to the point of no return? NO! We can’t see into their hearts — only the Holy Spirit can. So, since we don’t know, we can’t give up on the people He has put into our lives.

We, as Abba’s children, should feel a sense of urgency for these lost souls. As appalled as we may be by their sin, we must pray and speak salvation when called by the Holy Spirit. Our Father does not want to lose one single child.

As redeemed from the same path of destruction, may we reach out to those still traveling on it.

Think More About It

How does this verse hit your spirit?

Until tomorrow, may we feel the urgency, my friends.

Hear my prayer, ADONAI [LORD],
and listen to my cry—
do not keep silent at my tears.
For with You I am an outsider, a sojourner,
as all my fathers were.
Turn your gaze away from me, so I may smile again,
before I go, and am no more.” Psalm 39:13-14, TLV

Praying this with you and those precious souls we love. God bless you!
