Preparation.   On the 25th the Fall Biblical High Holy Days will begin with Yom Teruah, the Day of Trumpets/Shofarot (Leviticus 23:23-25) — also known as Rosh Hashanah. This time before the first of the Fall feasts, many believers in the Jewish Messiah begin reflecting on broken relationships and attempting to reconcile, the sins that so easily trip us up (Hebrews 12:1), and the grace and mercy of our Heavenly Father for sending His Son to atone for our sins.

In today’s verse, the sons of Korah’s asked questions ever penitent heart asks. And we can answer, Yes! Our Heavenly Father ensured that our sins would be taken away and pardoned. Because He sent His Son as the ultimate and final sacrifice (John 3:16).

Whether you and your family celebrate these Biblical holidays or not, perhaps take time today to reflect on the awesomeness of Jesus’s sacrifice for us. Maybe even take a fast of a meal, or no television or sweets. Then, pray for those you know and love who have yet come to that saving knowledge of the Messiah Yeshua.
