Taste and see how good Adonai is.
Blessed is the one who takes refuge in Him. Psalm 34:9, TLV
More of the beauty and wonder that is faith and trust. More than “I believe.” It is “taste and see” and taking refuge in our Heavenly Father.
David did this more than most men in his time. But because we have our amazing Rock, our touch point, we should all be like David — a man after God’s own heart (1 Samuel 12:14; Acts 13:22). For we can taste the unleavened bread and drink the fruit of the vine. We can “see” our Messiah’s salvation through His sacrifice on the cross.
God’s word is before us in nearly every conceivable form. We should have no excuse but to be men and women after His heart.
Magnify Adonai with me
and let us exalt His Name together. (vs. 9, TLV)
So, how about this: let’s remind one another that we have hearts like David — that special place in the heart of our Creator — because we are His redeemed children. Thanks to the atoning sacrifice of our Father’s Son, our Savior and Messiah, Yeshua.
