Daily Word: What’s Your Focus? Proverbs 18:12

Before ruin a person’s heart is proud, but humility comes before honor. Proverbs 18:12, TLV

What’s Your Focus?     Have you ever seen someone who was so absorbed in what was happening on their cell that they ran into walls or doors, or worse? That’s kind of like pride. We’re so absorbed in ourselves we don’t see others or the inevitable catastrophe ahead of us.

On the other hand, humility places less focus on ourselves, and more focus on GOD and others. Humility walks in gratitude. Humility focuses on our Heavenly Father who watches over us, even when we forget to look.

Sometimes, when challenges arise and we begin focusing on the trials we’re experiencing, we can become so myopic that we miss the solutions. Remembering to look up and beyond our difficulties can keep us from running into worse challenges. And that’s a good thing.

Think More About It

What are myopic areas that keep you focused on yourself?

Until tomorrow, may we walk in humility, my friends.

Let them praise His Name with dancing.
Let them sing praises to Him with tambourine and harp.
For ADONAI [the LORD] takes pleasure in His people.
He crowns the humble with salvation.
Let the kedoshim [saints] exult in glory.
Let them sing for joy on their beds.  Psalm 149:3-5, TLV

How about some rejoicing! If you want to do the hora while praying, please feel free. God bless you!
