Here comes the Sun . . .

Today’s Proverb: The proverbs of Solomon son of David, king of Israel: to acquire wisdom and discipline,to understand the words of insight, to receive instruction in wise behavior… Proverbs 1:1-3

scrollIt’s time to roll back the Proverbs’ scroll to receive new insights, deeper understanding, and reminders of those truths we need to walk in wisdom. As we begin a fresh journey in May, I think of watching a sunrise. I love watching the first bit of light on the horizon. Not quite enough to really see, definitely not enough to read by, but it’s glow kisses good-bye the darkness. Soon, the sky illuminates with beauty and clarity. That’s what acquiring wisdom, insight, and knowledge is like. Our pursuit of wisdom begins simply with being drawn to the light. We watch in anticipation for what the light will reveal. Over the months and years, little by little, the light reveals great beauty. And, when we continue our pursuit of that beauty, we can read that wisdom all around us. Then, in the fullness of daylight, we observe what is around us. Those in need, our own behaviors, our walk of faith in the Author of wisdom. It’s a new month, a new day, and a great beginning, my friends. Proverbs 1:1-3 Tree of Life Bible Society, Tree of Life Version – TLV, #tlvbible#tlvproverbs
