Today’s Blog: How to Better See
TODAY’S PROVERB: Whoever walks blamelessly will be safe, but whoever is perverse in his ways will fall suddenly. Proverbs 28:18, TLV
Have you ever tried walking in the dark without a light? For me, I noticed that if I close my eyes and stand still for a few moments, when I open my eyes more of whatever light is available — the moon, stars — can help me see. But, if it’s really dark, I leave my eyes closed. This way I spend less time trying to see and more on my efforts to move about.
In today’s proverb those who are blameless can safely make their way. Blameless doesn’t mean we’re perfect. It means we’re redeemed and forgiven.
Walking blamelessly lights our path. Our pursuit of righteousness keeps the Light of the world before us and in us. No matter how dark it is around us, we can “see.”
Without His illumination we will stumble and fall. When our path is lit by His love, others will be drawn to Him. I like that.
May our path be well it and safe, my friends.
