Today’s Blog: Lose something?
TODAY’S PROVERB: My son, hold on to sound wisdom and discernment, do not let them out of your sight. Proverbs 3:21, TLV
Have you ever misplaced your keys? Wallet? Phone? Sunglasses? Those items we generally need when going outside? I sure have. Way too often. And, as I’ve aged the potential for misplaced items only seems to increase.
But, I’ve learned a few ways that help me keep those items within sight — especially when I need them.
I have a small entry table by the front door, and a cabinet in the coat closet. The front table holds the items I need to take on my next trip outside or in the car. That includes library books, things I borrowed from the neighbors, etc. In the closet cabinet is where I park my purse and extra gloves, sunglasses, etc.
If I’m disciplined about returning everything to its proper place when I come home, I don’t have to fret next trip out.
When we have a disciplined routine with our Wisdom’s Journey, we know exactly where to find its precepts. Before we go out into the world and implement that wisdom, we know exactly where to find what we need.
We all have challenges that can cause chaos. Isn’t it good to know we don’t have to stay in that place of unrest looking for what we need. We can know exactly where to find sound wisdom. Hold on to that.
May we know right where we left our sound wisdom, my friends.
