Wisdom’s Journey: Proverbs 8:1

Terri GillespieWisdom’s Journey Through Proverbs

Do we heed wisdom’s call?

TODAY’S PROVERBS: Does not wisdom cry out, and understanding lift her voice? Proverbs 8:1

Our Heavenly Father longs for us to seek wisdom — to seek His counsel. The first four chapters of Proverbs share the benefits of seeking that wisdom.

When we seek His counsel, we seek His Counselor, His Ruach HaKodesh — His Holy Spirit. We receive His Holy Spirit when we accepted Jesus’ atonement for our sins. His Spirit resides in us to help us become who we were created to be.

As we study, meditate, and walk His word, we learn how to better recognize His voice. Over time, it becomes clearer for us what choices to make — what is the will of the Father in our life.

Now, add to this miraculous gift, the community of followers of Yeshua and there is a corporate anointing that is larger than the sum.

That’s how it can work. Work for the one. Work for the Body of Messiah. Change the world! We just have to listen when wisdom cries out.

May we heed wisdom’s cry, my friends.
