Hold on tightly to instruction, do not let it go—guard it, for it is your life. Proverbs 4:13, TLV

Hold Tight, My Friends!     During my early years of living wisdom, I think I was more about “shaking hands” with wisdom, not holding tight. Maybe because I didn’t believe I “knew” wisdom well enough to do that. I mean, we were on friendly terms, but letting wisdom more into my life and sticking around enough to know “her” better . . . well, I was a way from that.

When things really began changing in our “relationship” was when I was more focused and intentional about how I read and walked Proverbs. I began journaling one or two verses each day. Simple insights that I’d never thought of before. Things began making more sense. I understood why my husband and I had struggled over the years with the effects of poor decisions.

I sure go through a lot of journals, don’t I?

Then, back in 2015, the idea to do a short blog on Facebook with a graphic that illustrated a theme originated. Every once in a while, I’d take parts of my what I wrote in my journal and shared them. Nothing that profound, just meaningful to me. But it was a blessing to me and sometimes, I’d hear that others were blessed, too.

Once the commitment to write each day was made, wisdom and my “relationship” grew. We spent more time together, yes, but it has become a wondrous time of revelation. Then, you all have increased that revelation with your experiences and wisdom.

Hold Tightly!

Today, I am grabbing on tightly to instruction. I’m guarding this relationship for it has become my life. And I am so grateful that our Heavenly Father did not give up on this foolish daughter who made so many mistakes. I’m grateful to all of you for making this Wisdom’s Journey nothing short of amazing.

Think More About It

How do you hold tightly to wisdom and instruction? Do you journal? Study? How has your relationship with “wisdom” grown?

Until tomorrow, may we hold tight, my friends. Shabbat Shalom!

Thank you for your continued support and prayers for Israel and the Jewish people. God bless you!
