Daily Word: Love with Hands and Feet. 1 John 3:18

Children, let us not love with word or talk, but in deed and truth!  1 John 3:18, TLV

Love with Hands and Feet.    These days there are loud and violent voices and actions against those who seek peace and the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—Jewish, Arab, and Gentile. Being silent may now become an act of agreement.

There are even some redeemed children of the Most High, who appear to be asleep while darkness spreads.

Take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them— for it is disgraceful even to mention the things that are done by them in secret. Yet everything exposed by the light is being made visible, for everything made visible is light. This is why it says,

“Wake up, O sleeper!

Rise from the dead,

and Messiah will shine on you.”

Walking out our Heavenly Father’s love means, well, walking it out. And that means every single redeemed child. Just using words, even when those words are truth, doesn’t hold the real truth: Love moves. Love has hands and feet, not just a mouth. And it is prophetic for the nations.

Thus says ADONAI Elohim [the LORD God]: “Look, I will lift My hand to the nations, and raise My banner to the peoples! They will bring your sons on their chest, and carry your daughters on their shoulders.” Isaiah 49:22, TLV

We have an opportunity to see, even watch for, those who need our time, resources, and love. Because, before Yeshua’s [Jesus’] redemption, we were the needy ones. So, out of love and gratitude, let’s ask our Dad how we can walk out His love. He may lead us in simple ways and, perhaps, extraordinary deeds as His hands and feet.

Thoughts?

Until tomorrow, please pray for ways you can be the hands and feet of Messiah around you. God bless you and Shabbat Shalom.
