Daily Word: Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart.
Examine me, and know my anxious thoughts,
and see if there be any offensive way within me,
and lead me in the way everlasting. Psalm 139:23-24, TLV

Whew. Do we have the courage to pray this every single day? Perhaps several times a day? I used to. Not sure when I stopped, but no question, I need to resume this prayer. Because it’s not just about allowing our Father to know our thoughts — He knows them whether we “allow” Him or not — it’s about Him revealing them to us.

How about joining me? Each morning and/or evening praying this before we ask for forgiveness? As we all know, we can’t change what we won’t acknowledge. And we can’t acknowledge what we won’t see.
