Love does no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the fullness of the Torah. Romans 13:10, TLV

Context. Paul instructs the believers in Rome to be more serious about walking out their faith. Once again, there is an implication that the world around them is dark and evil. Surely, the Lord will return soon. So, all the more, be good citizens and neighbors.

Sounds familiar, doesn’t it?

It’s human nature to strike back when someone attacks us, or those we love. But we are to rethink our nature and seek to follow Yeshua’s path.

We are to love, but as we discussed before, love with wisdom and discernment.

What is our takeaway here? If we’re going to make a mistake, better to error in our approach in love than in being self-righteous. Love leaves the door open.
