Daily Word: What is Real? Proverbs 15:13

A joyful heart makes the face cheerful, but heartache crushes the spirit. Proverbs 15:13, TLV

What is Real?     Can we be real? Wherever we are emotionally, physically, and spiritually — and financially — is a fact. Whether we’re in a good place or bad place, we need to be honest with ourselves. Happy or depressed. Victorious or defeated. Peaceful or anxious. Being real is the first step to joy. Really.

Even though the facts are before us, it doesn’t always mean they are the truth. The facts are temporal, even whimsical. The truth is eternal.

What is Truth?

What is the truth? You probably already know, but it’s worth remembering.

Our Heavenly Father is the Creator of the Universe and He is sovereign. GOD is love, therefore, He loves us. He has already seen the outcome of these days — these facts — and He’s not intimidated or worried. Our Abba — our Daddy — is our only hope for lasting joy, peace, and victory.

Whatever our circumstances, we can abide in that eternal truth, and that triumphs over facts every time.

Think More About It

Are you able to look past the facts to everlasting truth? How has that impacted you during a difficult season?

Thanks for stopping by for a read. I love reading your comments and insights — keep ‘em coming! And if this blog was a blessing, please share. It helps.

Until tomorrow, may our faces reflect our Father’s truth, my friends. Right now, the facts in Israel seem to contradict the prophetic truths from God. Please continue to pray for our Father’s truths to be realized for friend and foe. God bless you and Shabbat Shalom!
