ADONAI [LORD], You are my God, I will exalt You, I will praise Your Name, for You have done wonderful things, plans of old with steadfast faithfulness. Isaiah 25:1, TLV

You Are My God. You Are My Dad!   With phrases like, “plans of old” and “steadfast faithfulness” and “wonderful things” is it any wonder we are in awe of our Dad?

He is the Ancient of Days (Daniel 7:9-22). He has no beginning or end—therefore He sees everything at once.

And yet, He knows our name. He knows the number of hairs — or hair follicles — on our head (Matthew 10:30; Luke 12:7). He cares about us. Wants us to call Him, “Abba — Daddy.” (Romans 8:15)

That’s why we exalt Him. That’s why we brag that our God is greater than any other so-called god. (Pretty much the whole book of Psalms)

It is why when bad things happen to us, to the people we love, or somewhere in the world, we remember the wonderful things He has done. Because, in His steadfast faithfulness there is peace in the chaos and uncertainty.

And sometimes we just love praising Him for no reason — because there is every reason.

In this world, we will always have tribulations, but He has overcome the world and the evil one who seeks to destroy all that is good (John 16:33). Because OUR FATHER WINS!

HALLELUYAH!
