Interesting that this verse popped up in YouVersion’s verse of the day. It was just verse of the day in December, so why again so soon? Humility is Freedom? For too many years I thought that humility was synonymous with weakness. Actually, it is quite the opposite. It takes a lot of strength to be humble, by choice.
When those challenges and disasters arise, is our first response, “Yippee! Praise the LORD!”? Probably not. I know my natural inclination isn’t.
